Heaven Forbid We INTERACT!!!!!!!

I am absolutely disgusted by the Chrysler and other commercials that tout car DVD players as God's gift to parents. "When kids get what they want, you get what you want...." Who put the KIDS in control????? Don't people want to talk to their children? We used to play "I Spy", and look for out-of-state license plates, and talk about our day. My parents interacted with us and read to us, and taught us stuff. This is probably why my brothers and I were all reading before Kindergarten and why we did so well in school.

I have to have a license for each of my dogs, and I needed to complete hours of classes in child development and psychology to obtain my teaching and administrative degrees. ANYONE can have a child, ignore them, suck off the system (for EACH child), and then wonder why their child can't read, or has behavior issues, or has a problem with authority. People are afraid to be parents!

Joey Fatone Variety Hour!

I don't usually watch such things (yeah, right), and although I think Joey did a great job dancing on "Dancing with the Stars", I really think that his personality was what really got my attention. I think he should have his own variety show ala "Sonny and Cher" or "Donny and Marie". I think he would make it entirely entertaining and appropriate for all ages. Maybe I'll call his agent! (Or not!)
